Los Angeles, California - Kim Kardashian and Hilary Clinton faced off in a lightning round of legal trivia – and it didn't go the way most people expected!

The two went head-to-head for Clinton's upcoming eight-episode show Gutsy.

On Tuesday, People released a preview for the Apple TV series, showing the former first lady admitting that she was actually bested in a round of legal trivia by The Kardashians star and budding lawyer.

"I think Kim has an unfair advantage," Hillary shared told the outlet.

Her daughter Chelsea quipped: "Kim has studied more recently than you."

The 41-year-old star apparently outscored the former US Secretary of State 11-4 after Chelsea asked the two a series of questions on the use of deadly force, extortion, robbery, and self-defense.

It was all in good fun, even though Clinton said the loss was "heartbreaking."

The politician did note her admiration for the aspiring lawyer, as did Chelsea, who revealed she's ready to join Kim's cause of criminal justice reform. At the same time, she couldn't help but poke fun at her mom's "reaction time."

"Sometimes, I could see my mom knew what the answer was, but she wouldn't hit the buzzer in time," Chelsea joked.

"I was really intrigued by how well she did. I wanted to put the spotlight on her, not that she needs it, but she worked really hard to get that," Clinton responded.

Gutsy premieres on Apple TV September 9.
