Los Angeles, California - Following the wild claims made by Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis' former nanny in a recent interview, the ex-couple has spoken out.

A Daily Mail interview published on Monday featured more spilled tea than an earthquake at Buckingham Palace.

According to the couple's anonymous former employer, they broke up because of Wilde's alleged affair with Harry Styles – and her special salad dressing.

But now the former pair have addressed the shocking story in a new joint statement, which they used to dismiss the unnamed tipster's allegations.

"As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly," their joint statement obtained by CNN began.

"Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex."

"We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone," the statement concluded.

It's good to see the former pair at least on the same page when it comes to the mind-boggling claims made by their ex-nanny.

After the longtime partners surprisingly split, the Don't Worry Darling director's relationship with Harry Styles came to light, as did hints that some cheating may have led to the breakup with Sudeikis.

Wilde has firmly maintained that this wasn't the case.

Additionally, the two are currently entangled in a messy custody battle over their two children, Otis and Daisy.

A big part of that mess was the Ted Lasso star unintentionally ambushing his ex with legal papers while she was on stage at CinemaCon.

Thankfully, it seems things are at least civil between the two stars – for now.
