Los Angeles, California - This is not a drill! Selena Gomez has confirmed that she officially has some new music on the way!

It appears that that Wizards of Waverley Place star has begun working on some new music.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old singer posted a clip of herself wearing large headphones and standing in front of a microphone inside a recording studio to TikTok.

"New," Selena simply wrote in the caption.

Back in May, the 29-year-old actor had stated that she was working on her next album.

Selena, who was recently spotted at Britney Spears' wedding, hasn't released anything since her debut Spanish-language 2021 EP Revelación.

Back in May, the pop star revealed to Deadline's Crew Call podcast that she was cooking up something fresh.

"I just finished Season four of my cooking show Selena + Chef and I am in LA working on my album now," she said.

"I'm grateful for where I am, but I think and I believe that I've barely touched the surface of what I'm able to."

The Disney alum further dished that she could take her new music on the road.

"I am open to a tour, 1,000 percent," Selena continued, adding "But I obviously have obligations and things that I want to do, so, when the time's right. It's not the top of my priority list."

In the meantime, fans can catch Selena as the pesky Mabel who has to solve yet another murder with her equally bumbling neighbors on the Hulu suspense-comedy, Only Murders in the Building.
