The Flash star Ezra Miller arrested in Hawaii after unruly bar incident
Hilo, Hawaii - It appears that Will Smith wasn't the only celeb that caused a scene this past weekend. Ezra Miller, star of The Flash and Fantastic Beasts, was arrested in Hawaii after an incident at a bar.
On Monday, the DC alum was arrested by law enforcement and charged for disorderly conduct and harassment.
According to a tweet by the Hawai'i County Police Department officers responded to a report about a disorderly bar patron on Sunday evening.
Police discovered that Miller had become disruptive while other patrons sang karaoke and had begun "yelling obscenities."
The 29-year-old then "grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts," police said.
Per Variety, The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor was arrested and charged on offenses of disorderly conduct and harassment but was released from jail after settling their $500 bail.
This isn't the first time Miller has lost control in public.
In 2020, a video in a since-deleted tweet seemingly showed the We Need to Talk About Kevin star choking a woman and throwing her to the ground.
At the time, Variety confirmed the ordeal took place in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavík at Prikið Kaffihús, "a trendy bar in central Reykjavík that Miller frequents" when in the city.
Sources who were at the scene described the situation as a serious altercation, which led to Miller being escorted off the premises by staff.
The actor is currently set to reprise their role as Barry Allen/The Flash in the DC Extended Universe titular film.
Miller's next film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, hits theaters April 15.
