In an interview published over the weekend by The Times of London, the TV host (67) seemed to again push the idea that the Holocaust wasn't racially motivated, a sentiment she claims got her "cancelled."

"My best friend said, 'Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race. So that leads me to believe that we're probably not a race,'" the comedian and actor told the outlet.

Interviewer Janice Turner pushed back, pointing out that the Nazis did indeed see the Jewish people as a race, but Whoopi wasn't having it.

"Yes, but that's the killer, isn't it?" the star argued. "The oppressor is telling you what you are. Why are you believing them? They're Nazis. Why believe what they're saying?"

"It doesn’t change the fact that you could not tell a Jew on a street," she continued. "You could find me. You couldn't find them."

"That was the point I was making," she said, referring to similar comments she had made previously while hosting The View that temporarily cost her her job. "But you would have thought that I'd taken a big old stinky dump on the table, butt naked."

Whoopi Goldberg made similar Holocaust remarks in the past

Back in January, Whoopi came under fire when she first made the claim that the Holocaust "wasn't about race" during an episode of The View.

She eventually issued an apology, stating, "I stand corrected... I'm sorry for the hurt I have caused."

Her comments led ABC, the channel that airs The View, to place her on a temporary suspension.

Whoopi Goldberg now seems adamant to continue arguing her points, and doesn't appear to have learned much from her previous experience.
