Anne Hathaway responds to wild rumors that she's faking her pregnancy
Los Angeles, California – Anne Hathaway is at the center of some wild online rumors that she's been faking her latest pregnancy. Now, the actor has clapped back with a clear statement!
In a light-blue top and low‑rise jeans, the 43-year-old Oscar winner proudly showed off her baby bump over the weekend at the world premiere of her new film, The End of Oak Street, in Los Angeles.
But shortly after, Anne's protruding belly sparked some skeptical comments online, with users on TikTok claiming that it looked fake and suggesting that she might be faking her third pregnancy.
Now, the expectant mother has put an end to the wild speculation with a cheeky – yet clear – remark.
"Fake hair, real baby bump," Anne joked in an Instagram video showing her preparations for the red carpet appearance.
While The Odyssey star is being professionally made up and styled, a synthetic hairpiece is added as part of her look.
At the end of the clip, Anne displays the final result – a bare and, as she stresses, genuine baby bump!
Anne officially announced her pregnancy in June. The new baby will be her third child with husband Adam Shulman – the couple already shares two sons together.
