London, UK - Could Mikey Madison be the lucky lady picked to play Britney Spears in the film based on the pop star's memoir?
The Oscar winner addressed the rumors that she's being considered to portray Britney on the big screen at The Social Reckoning's UK premiere.
Per Billboard, when asked about the rumors, Mikey said, "Britney is my everything, but I think for her you need someone completely unknown, someone completely fresh that you can just pluck and mold into her."
The interviewer still insisted that the I'm a Slave 4 U hitmaker would be "pretty happy" with the Anora star's casting.
Yet, Mikey explained, "That's incredibly flattering; I don't have much musical talent."
Ever since the adaptation of Britney's memoir, The Woman in Me, got the green light from Universal Studios, several big names have floated around as possible contenders for the anticipated film.
Fans have suggested stars such as Sydney Sweeney, Sabrina Carpenter, and Millie Bobby Brown as potential picks!
Meanwhile, director Jon M. Chu has remained tight-lipped about the movie, though he recently teased that he hasn't kicked off the casting process yet.
Still, the Wicked filmmaker has described the biopic as "incredible, profound, and beautiful."
