In a short video posted to Instagram on Monday, the Dead to Me star addressed her followers. She was cheerful and visibly transformed.
The 54‑year‑old appeared noticeably slimmer and was rocking a new hairdo.
"Thank you for brightening my cloudy day," Applegate wrote in the caption, tagging her stylist.
"Love you and love to you all out there," she added.
The reactions from friends and fans came in quickly. Comments called Christina a "beautiful" and "remarkable" woman, and many praised her bravery and thanked her for being open about her serious illness.
News of the actor's hospitalization first surfaced in the spring. By August, insiders reported that the screen star had been discharged from the hospital – a fact Applegate herself recently confirmed.
In an earlier social media post, she shared a photo showing several colorful garlands that read "Yay, you're home." Applegate has not said if her months‑long inpatient treatment was related to her MS.
