Los Angeles, California - Jennifer Lopez is clapping back after being accused of butting heads with the director of her upcoming thriller!
After it was reported that J.Lo was trying to "take over" her next movie, The Last Mrs. Parrish, the 57-year-old has denied the rumors.
The $100 million thriller is being directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, and Page Six previously dished that J.Lo and Zemeckis were clashing over the movie's final edit.
Insiders further tattled that the situation gave similar vibes to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's legal war.
On Wednesday, the Let's Get Loud hitmaker released a joint statement with Netflix and the director denying any drama, per TMZ.
"As we have said to Page Six, this reporting is categorically false. Any suggestion that the filmmakers are not working in unison is without merit," the statement reads.
The Last Mrs. Parrish, which is expected to be released in 2027, is based on the novel of the same name, which also stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Isabel May.
J.Lo and Coster-Waldau play spouses whose lives are infiltrated by a con artist, portrayed by May, hoping to replace the wife. Things become complicated after it's revealed that her victim has deadly secrets of her own!
