Washington DC - Former Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly preparing to travel the country in support of Senate candidate Jon Ossoff of Georgia.
According to CNN, Harris will be giving the keynote address during an upcoming Fulton County Democrats dinner and will support Ossoff at a number of other events at the end of October.
"Senator Ossoff is grateful for Vice President Harris' help and support in his re-election campaign," a spokesperson for Ossoff told the news outlet.
Ossoff is running for reelection as Republicans fight to maintain their thin majority in both the House and Senate.
Last month, he made headlines after he gave a campaign speech in which he described President Donald Trump as a "draft-dodging, crook president," and mocked the leader's bizarrely close relationship with his aide Natalie Harp, who reportedly pens him letters of adoration.
Harris ran a brief presidential campaign in 2024, but ultimately lost to Trump.
In a recent interview, Harris lamented that she doesn't know "how to live and not serve," and said she is now focused on helping her party move ahead in the midterms.
"Right now, midterms, midterms, midterms full time occupying my thoughts, my mind and my work," Harris said.
Harris is also campaigning in support of others – such as Congressional candidates Marni Von Wilpert and Richard Pan of her state of California, and gubernatorial candidate Aaron Ford of Nevada.
A few Democrats have notably declined help from Harris, including Senate candidate Mary Peltola of Alaska, Senate candidate Adam Hamilton of Kansas, and gubernatorial candidate Rob Sand of Iowa.
