Washington DC - The Secret Service said on Monday that it's aware of a video shared by Iranian state media urging the assassination of Barron Trump and providing information on how to get close to him.

Iranian state media has repeatedly issued threats against President Donald Trump's life, as well as his wife Melania and numerous members of his administration, since the US and Israel launched its war on Iran in February.

The new video, however, seems to be the first time that open threats have been directly targeted at Barron Trump, who largely stays out of the spotlight.

"The US Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees," Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring told CNN.

"Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence."

The video, which has since been shared across much of social media, is titled "Where to kill Barron Trump?!" and provides a collection of information on Secret Service strategies and Barron Trump's habits.

Specifically, stylized graphics show locations where Trump spends time, complete with diagrams of where the Secret Service agents are likely to be placed. It ends with a narrator touting a $10 million reward for his killing.

Iranian state broadcaster Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) was behind the original video, which isn't the first such clip it has released. The broadcaster has threatened death upon many members of the Trump family.

While Barron Trump has largely stayed out of the spotlight, over recent months he has been embroiled in numerous scandals around his links to the manosphere and, in particular, his ties to alleged sex trafficker Andrew Tate.
