Saddle River, New Jersey - In a recent interview, actor and TV host Nick Cannon revealed that he was seeking a vasectomy.

The 41-year-old currently has seven children with an eighth on the way, but it seems now he wants to focus more on being a dad.

"I already went and got my vasectomy consultation," Cannon said. "I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have."

The Masked Singer host first had twins with singer Mariah Carey back in 2011, and another two with Brittany Bell in 2017 and 2020. He also welcomed another set of twins in 2021.

Cannon had his seventh with Alyssa Scott in 2021, who unfortunately died after 5 months from brain cancer.

He had a child last year with model Brie Tiesi, who is currently expecting another.

Cannon has been open the fact that he doesn't subscribe to monogamous relationships. Despite the judgement he gets from critics and the public, he sees his fatherhood experience as a blessing.

"I don’t know if I would’ve designed it this way, but it’s one of those things when you’re blessed with the gifts of children," he explained. "I’ve been through so much, I find solace, I find peace in my children and I find purpose. So, I’m not out here looking."

Above everything, Cannon seems happy to be a father no matter how much his family grows, which is a beautiful thing.
