New York, New York – Billie Eilish is rounding out her 2021 in a major way, and fans are here for it.

It's a good time to be a Bad Guy, that is, if your name also happens to be Billie Eilish.

On Saturday, the Grammy-winning artist will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time. Not only that, but Eilish is also slated to be Saturday's musical guest for the sketch comedy show.

This marks the 19-year-old's second time performing on SNL, but a lot has changed in Eilish's world since making her debut SNL appearance in September 2019.

For the better part of 2020, Eilish – like most of us – spent a lot of time at home as the Covid-19 pandemic continued to rage on.

Rather than wasting away the days scrolling through TikTok and binge-watching Tiger King on Netflix, Eilish put her head down and got to work on creatively crafting her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever.

While the Los Angeles, California native was scoping out new sounds for the follow-up to her highly acclaimed debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, she was also eyeing out a new aesthetic in a platinum state of mind.

In March 2021, the songstress shocked the world when she bid adieu to her signature lime green roots in exchange for another dramatic 'do in the form of platinum blonde locks.

Though the Lost Cause singer made quite her stamp on the world as a blonde, like attending the Met Gala in an iconic, Marilyn Monroe-inspired look, Eilish couldn't leave the dark side behind and ended up dying it brown just last week.

On Tuesday, SNL posted a photo of Eilish at rehearsals rocking her new 'do with a face mask like the trend-setter that she is.

Neither SNL nor Eilish have spilled the tea about what sketches might be taking place on Saturday night's episode, but it's bound to be everything fans have wanted.

The episode will air on Saturday, December 11, at 11:30 PM EST on NBC.
