Los Angeles, California - Hollywood star Brad Pitt may be newly in love: It looks like a soulful singer captured the actor's heart at this year's Oscars.

According to several media reports, Pitt has a big crush on R&B singer and actor Andra Day (36).

The two met at this year's Academy Awards in late April.

Day apparently caught his eye backstage and there was unmistakable heavy flirting between the pair.

"Andra has been on Brad's radar for a while," a source revealed to the Mirror. "Some of Brad's pals have been talking about what a great couple they would make."

Brad is said to especially love Andra's confident demeanor.

That night, the two exchanged phone numbers, according to witnesses.

Pitt appeared at the awards ceremony as a presenter, while Day was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her portrayal of jazz singer Billie Holiday in the biopic The United States vs. Billie Holiday.

The 57-year-old actor may not be hoping for just a romantic rendezvous with Day, but perhaps a professional one as well.

"He can spot real talent a mile away, and he'd love to work with her on one of the projects he's developing for his production company," a source said.

The Hollywood star has been officially single since his split from ex Angelina Jolie (45) in 2016, and their custody battle over their kids has recently heated up.
