Los Angeles, California - Kanye West has been banned from performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards due to his recent "concerning online behavior," as first reported by The Blast.

Ye's most recent online outburst, directed at this year's Grammys host Trevor Noah, apparently played a big part in the decision.

Noah dedicated a segment of his show The Daily Show to express his views on the public feud between West, Kim Kardashian, and Pete Davidson.

Noah argued that West's behavior has become, "more and more belligerent" and his public treatment of ex-wife Kardashian is toxic.

"What she's going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave," Noah explained.

"If Kim Kardashian cannot escape this, then what chance do normal women have?"

West responded on Instagram using racial slurs aimed at Noah, which resulted in the platform banning his account for 24 hours for violating policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying.

As usual, Kanye deleted the posts shortly after.

The 44-year-old rapper is nominated for five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year for his 2020 record Donda, and was slated to perform alongside BTS, Billie Eilish, Jack Harlow, Lil' Nas X, and Olivia Rodrigo.

After hearing that the award show pulled the plug on Kanye's performance, Noah responded on Twitter: "I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye."

Rapper The Game, who released two music videos with Ye for the track Eazy, which depict violent acts being performed on an animated version of Pete Davidson, chimed in on Instagram, calling the decision a "more than obvious move for reasons of minuscule actions."

Noah is set to host the Grammy Awards on April 3, and with so much commotion being stirred up beforehand, it will definitely be worth watching.
