Blockbuster summer: Here's what to expect in theaters and on streaming services in June!

Summer is just around the corner! Whether people decide to stay in for date night or return to the theaters, here a few new TV shows and movies coming out this month that will set this up to be an exciting season!

Loki

The God of Mischief is coming to TV screens everywhere via the Disney+ app.

Tom Hiddleston reprises his role in the titular series that follows the events of Avengers: Endgame, where an alternate version of the fallen Asgardian prince makes a new timeline.

Given the wild successes of Marvel's previous series, WandaVision, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, fans are surely in for an unexpected adventure that will nicely tie into Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

For anyone who is a fan of horror films, the upcoming third movie in the Conjuring series will be a terrifying treat.

Like its predecessors, The Devil Made Me Do It, is based on the findings of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.

This time, the spouses, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, are called to investigate the claims of a man who claimed the devil made him commit murder.

The movie, which is based on a real-life murder trial that featured this exact defense, hits theaters and HBO Max on June 4th.

Lupin - Part 2

Mystery, love, theft, action, and comedy: Lupin is the perfect thriller that has an equal amount of suspense and heart.

In the French thriller, Omar Sy stars as Assane Diop, a man who wears many disguises and longs to clear his deceased father's name.

The first season ended with a remarkable cliff-hanger, as Lupin's son was stolen by Leonard, the henchman of Diop's nemesis, Hubert Pellegrini.

The second series will be released on Netflix, on June 11th!

Fast & Furious 9 (F9)

Family forever! The ninth film in the Fast & Furious franchise will be released towards the end of June and from the trailers and teasers, it's gearing up to be an epic ride.

Following the events of The Fate of the Furious, Dominic Torretto, played by Vin Diesel, has settled down with his wife, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), and his son. However, the past comes back to haunt him when his brother, Jakob (John Cena) returns after teaming up with his arch-nemesis, Cipher (Charlize Theron).

With the surprise revelation that a character presumed dead will return and more unbelievable action scenes, fans of the series will once again be blown away with this action-packed film.

F9 will be released on June 25th.

If this is how the summer will start, we can't wait to see what's in store for the next few months!
