There's no denying that Kim Kardashian is actually the reason why the family shot to stardom to begin with.

The KKW owner's scandalous sex tape was, at one point, the series' biggest selling point, which partly explains why it was addressed from the get go in the pilot.

Of course, over time this changed and 20 seasons worth of drama gave us plenty of other talking points. Ahead of the KUWTK reunion wrap up on Sunday, it just wouldn't feel right to not give Kimmy Cakes her flowers for keeping us all entertained.

From her whirlwind marriages, catfights, and more than a few vain escapades, here are Kim's most unforgettable moments on KUWTK.

In October 2010, Kim began dating NBA star Kris Humphries.

The athlete didn't make an official appearance until KUWTK's sixth season and he didn't immediately win over the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but after some time, they gave Kim's then-beau a chance.

By the season's 13th episode, Kris decided to pop the question to Kim. The two promptly held an all-white, "fairytale wedding" in Montecito, California, the dream soon turned into a nightmare. In a shocking development, it only took 72 days for Kim to file for divorce.

The fallout led to fans slamming the reality star for allegedly only marrying Kris "for publicity." The calls to have the entire show canned was so overwhelming that it actually looked like it might happen for a while.

As for the former couple, Kim eventually moved on, but the NBA star had a very hard time recovering from the ordeal.

There's a strong suggestion that this whole saga will finally be addressed in Sunday's part two of the reunion special.

Everyone remembers how Kourtney Kardashian hilariously shaded her sister when she lost her diamond earrings in the sea.

And while Kourtney wasn't wrong – and Kim really shouldn't have plunged into the ocean with expensive jewelry – it wasn't the first, nor the last time the siblings would snipe at each other.

For instance, during the season 18 premiere when Kim, slapped the living heck out of Kourtney, as they got into a physical altercation after a spat about Kourtney's work ethic.

The nasty catfight resulted in kicks, insults, Kim slapping her elder sister three times, and the immortal line: "Don't be f***ing rude!"

But the two are still very close – and who hasn't had the urge to slap some sense into their sister before?

While Kim Kardashian was still legally married to Kris, she began a relationship with her longtime friend, Kanye West.

The two welcomed their first daughter, North, in 2013 and married in 2014.

Three kids and six years later, things between Kim and Kanye seemed to have been going well until earlier this year.

After rumors that the couple's marriage was in trouble, the two confirmed their split and Kim officially filed for divorce a month later.

The beauty mogul addressed the surprising break-up during the finale season of KUWTK.

Kim revealed to her siblings that she felt "like a f***ing failure" and that her estranged husband deserved to be with someone who could travel all around the world.

By now, it's clear that this kind of relationship is not what Kim wants in a marriage. The mom of four also shared that the rapper lived in another state for long stretches while they were married.

Kim's vulnerable moment was a reminder that she is still a human being that yearns to be loved. The end of her third marriage is definitely a hard thing to deal with, but staying in an unhappy one is even worse.

Now that it seems like Kanye is moving on with his life, Kim is free to find the love she's looking for – possibly someone who shares her passion for criminal justice reform!

Nobody was that surprised when Kim Kardashian addressed her raunchy sex tape on the very first episode of KUWTK.

In season one, while getting ready for her interview with Tyra Banks, Kim flat out told Kourtney that she did the X-rated video with her then-boyfriend, Ray J because she was "horny" and "felt like it."

She also revealed that she was on ecstasy while the former couple recorded the dirty deeds. Throughout the years, Kim made it crystal how much she regretted it.

But these moments of self-awareness aside, she often proved that she's a bit vain – to put it mildly.

There was the time when Kim took a selfie while the family escorted Khloe to jail. "Kim, would you stop taking pictures of yourself? Your sister's going to jail," Kris memorably yelled at Kim.

And who can forget the cringeworthy, racy photoshoot for Playboy that Kris awkwardly cheered on?

Overall though, Kim Kardashian has also become a loving mother, a very supportive sister and daughter, and a genuinely fascinating person. Why else would the world keep up with her for so many years?
