Los Angeles, California - Kim Kardashian dished on her relationship with Pete Davidson for the first time publically during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I guess it's not official until you post," Kim joked to the daytime host, referring to a photo dump she shared on Instagram last week.

Or - until a tell-all on TV.

On Wednesday, Kim chatted about her surprising romance with her comedian beau for the first time.

During the interview, DeGeneres mentioned to Kim, "I see a shift in you, an ease to you, a whole different side."

"It feels good," gushed the SKIMS owner, who was recently declared legally single.

"I think it's just, in life, like no matter what it is, I just think I encourage my friends and the people that I love just to be happy. And I went for it. I was like, 'You know what, I'm in my 40s like, f**k it, just go for it. Find your happiness,'" she explained.

The future lawyer is still embroiled in a nasty divorce from ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West, who's constantly attacked the Saturday Night Live star on social media. It is good to see that Kim isn't letting Ye's toxic behavior interfere with her new relationship.

As for those tattoo rumors, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star coyly shared if her boo got her name tatted on him.

"Yeah, he has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got," she replied with a smile, before explaining, "This one, the Kim one, isn't a tattoo. It's actually a branding."

Following more prodding from DeGeneres, Kim teased, "It says, 'My girl is a lawyer,' and that one is really cute."

Kim will reveal how her love story with Pete began in the upcoming Hulu series, The Kardashians.
