New York, New York - Meow! Taylor Swift and her longtime beau Joe Alwyn may be a notoriously private couple, but eagle-eyed Swifties never miss a subtle nod to their love story.

The Conversations with Friends actor and the 33-year-old singer have been an item since 2016.

Though often rumored to be engaged, the couple rarely speaks publicly about their relationship.

On Sunday, the 31-year-old screen star took a page out of his girlfriend's book with an Easter egg of his own in a recent series of snaps shared on his Instagram story.

One photo featured Swift's cat, Meredith, lying under a desk, giving fans a characteristically subtle glimpse into their life together.

Though the pair never share photos together on their social media pages, Alwyn has garnered a bit of a reputation for paying homage to his girlfriend by posting photos of her cats.

"I love how Joe Alwyn quietly acknowledges that he is dating Taylor Swift by posting pictures of her cats every few months," one fan wrote.

"The way joe alwyn is soft launching his relationship with those cats has me in a chokehold," another joked.

Despite their aversion to public talk of their romance, Alwyn seems to be, of course, a frequent subject of Swift's songwriting. The artist has made several obvious nods to him in swoon-worthy tracks like London Boy, Delicate, invisible string, and more.

She also shared that Lavender Haze, the first song off her latest album Midnights, is about having to dodge "weird rumors" over the course of their six-year relationship.

With Swift's cats' seal of approval, these two are certainly the purr-fect match!
