Calabasas, California – Kravis baby rumors have been swirling for quite some time. Now, Kourtney has opened up about her journey to conceive a new bundle of joy – which, so far, hasn't been so joyous.

It's long been speculated that PDA-heavy lovebirds Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker might be expecting a child together.

The duo even teased last month that they were trying for a baby in the first full-length trailer for the Kar-Jenners' new Hulu show The Kardashians, which showed the two at a doctor's visit.

Now, the eldest Kardashian sibling has opened up about recently undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments to become pregnant, saying the couple wants "so badly" to "make something together."

During the second episode of The Kardashians, which dropped on Wednesday night, the 43-year-old revealed her "awful" experience with IVF, and what it has done to her health.

"It hasn’t been the most amazing experience," Kourtney explains in a confessional.

"I think because I'm so clean and careful with what I put into my body, it’s just having the complete opposite reaction and is working as a contraceptive instead of helping us," she added.

While there is no definitive research that clean eating makes IVF less effective, Kourtney does say she's been "super moody and hormonal" and "a lunatic half the time."

She also tells momager Kris Jenner the medication she's been on as part of the treatments have caused her to go into early menopause.

"I just feel a little bit off and not like myself," Kourtney says. "The medication basically put me into depression."

In the episode, Kris notes her surprise over how her daughter has been "struggling," despite the happy milestones she and Travis have recently celebrated. The Blink-182 drummer proposed with a lavish beachside display in October, and the two drunkenly attempted to get married in Las Vegas earlier this month. (While they found an Elvis impersonator to do the honors, they didn't find the marriage license to make the union legal.)

The two are already both parents and have blended their respective families. Kourtney has three kids – Mason (12), Penelope (9), and Reign (7) with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick – while Travis shares his three children Atiana (23), Landon (18,) and Alabama (16) with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
