Alex Jones raises alarms over Trump's declining health: "He's gone"
Austin, Texas - Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones recently got teary-eyed after admitting that it appears President Donald Trump's health is on the decline.
During Tuesday's episode of The Alex Jones Show, the host went on a lengthy rant in which he urged his MAGA viewers to "pray" for the 79-year-old president.
"When your ankles swell up three times the size they were before, that means heart failure... and he does look sick," Jones said.
"And he does...babble, and, you know... sound like the brain's not doing too hot."
Jones has been a longtime, staunch MAGA ally for years, but in recent months, he has been heavily critical of the president on several issues, including the administration's mishandling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and the Iran war.
The broadcaster went on to argue that conservatives should "cut bait on Trump" and mobilize against Democrats.
"Trump is just a minor figure in all of that now," he continued, growing emotional. "We have to be appreciative of the old Trump that went through so much and got so much done.
"We need to be sad about Trump. This is not funny, this is not good. But he's gone. And that's it," he added.
Concerns over President Donald Trump's health
Since taking office for his second term, Trump has faced skepticism about the state of his physical and cognitive health.
He has been photographed with bruising and rashes on his body, has been prone to falling asleep during important events, and has built a habit of delivering long-winded rants in which he makes wildly false claims.
Trump's predecessor Joe Biden, who left office when he was 81, faced constant criticism about his age, health, and arguable cognitive decline during his presidency – criticism that Trump is now confronting himself.
Earlier this month, Trump admitted that he fell asleep during a recent cabinet meeting regarding the ongoing war in Iran, because the meetings are "boring as hell."
