Trump reportedly considers taking drastic steps on Pam Bondi and Tulsi Gabbard

Washington DC - President Donald Trump has reportedly been considering getting rid of two of his top administration officials.

Recent reports claim that President Donald Trump has been considering firing Attorney General Pam Bondi and Intelligence official Tulsi Gabbard.

Multiple sources have told both The New York Times and CNN that Trump has been discussing the possibility of firing Attorney General Pam Bondi over frustrations about the ongoing scandal involving the Jeffrey Epstein files.

He is said to be looking at Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin as a potential replacement, but it is unclear if he has come to any decisions.

Similarly, two sources told the Guardian that Trump has been sounding out cabinet officials in recent weeks on the possibility of firing National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard.

The sources claimed the president has been frustrated over rumors that Gabbard, who is known for her anti-war stance, shielded a former deputy who criticized his rationale for going to war with Iran. There is currently no clear candidate to replace her.

In his second term, Trump has avoided firing officials outright, and instead moved them to different roles. Earlier this month, he demoted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who also faced heavy backlash for her decisions.

But Trump has recently said Bondi and Gabbard are still in his good graces. At the beginning of March, Trump vowed that Bondi would spend the next three years "proving how tough she is."

And on Sunday, the 79-year-old insisted he still had confidence in Gabbard, but admitted she is "a little bit different in her thought process" about the Iran war.
