Miley Cyrus jests back at Selena Gomez with epic tank top
Los Angeles, California - Miley Cyrus was apparently impressed by Selena Gomez's impression of her on Saturday Night Live.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And it seems that Miley is onboard with a little imitating, and jesting, from Selena.
So much so that the Wrecking Ball singer showed her support for Selena's SNL monologue, and lighthearted mocking at her expense, with a cheekily-crafted tank top.
The pop-country singer put her DIY skills to work and whipped up the custom-made shirt, which she debuted in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
"Hell yeah I'm Miley Cyrus," the white tank read in bold block letters across the front.
The Party in the USA artist posed in bed with a cup of tea while showing off her creation.
Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez's past beef is dead and gone
Miley's post is also further proof that whatever beef she and Selena may have had in the past is over and done with.
On Saturday night, the Lose You to Love Me singer began her hosting gig on the long-running sketch comedy show by – of course – cracking jokes.
"It's cool being around two SNL legends. When I found out I was hosting, I immediately asked for their advice," she began, referring to her Only Murders in the Building costars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
After explaining the tips the comedy vets gave her, the Wolves singer told the audience she also asked one of her "oldest friends, Miley Cyrus" for advice.
"Just be yourself and have fun," Selena said, while giving a spot-on impression of the Hannah Montana star's deep, southern drawl.
"I was like, 'Miley, is that just an excuse for me to do an impression of you?'" Selena continued. "And she's like, 'Hell yeah, I'm Miley Cyrus.'"
Miley's tank top surely drives the point home.
