According to a tweet by Nintendo of America, the trailer will premiere during a Nintendo Direct event on Thursday at 4:05 PM ET, giving fans a first look at Pratt's vocals as Mario, as well as the rest of the cast in their highly regarded roles.

Along with the announcement of the first official trailer came fan reactions to the debut of the official movie poster, but not for the reasons you'd think.

People are apparently bothered by the lack of behind on Mario, with one Twitter user replying, "Why does Mario have no a** if that boy is running and jumping all the time?"

To date, not much is known about the movie aside from its star-studded cast and its expected theater-only release on April 7, 2023.

The film itself was written by Matthew Fogel, who also wrote Minions: The Rise of Gru, and was directed by Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath of Teen Titans Go! fame.

While much is unknown about The Super Mario Bros. Movie. now, that's sure to change once the official trailer drops on Thursday.
