In a TikTok video, a young American woman who goes by "maybebrea" explains that even after three years of together, she is still not able to pronounce her husband's name!

Instead, she always calls him "Baby".

The American now lives with her Swedish husband and their kids in the Scandinavian country. She often documents videos of herself trying out the language and "learning the Swedish life".

But in her most popular clip, she says of her husband, "I don't know how to pronounce his Swedish name."

"Ragnar... Ragnaa... Rargnar?" she stuttered as she tried out different pronunciations.

The video has gone viral and gained more than 13 million clicks.

In her video's subtitles, she even tries out different versions through text: "raGNAR, RAGna, rAgNar" but none seem to do the trick.

Her husband finally speaks out

The TikTok community rallied around the ex-pat, who expressed similar difficulty with foreign names.

"OMG...My husband is also Swedish and we've been together for seven years and I still can't pronounce his name correctly," one TikToker confessed.

"I feel for you sis. My husband's first name is Kapuamamalukeakua," said another user.

Many commenters urged her hubby to make his own video, so the internet could judge just how much of a challenge she was up against.

Maybebrea's husband finally came forward in a follow-up post and gave his own explanation of his name.

Yet, as he spoke quickly and noted different possible pronunciations, hardly anyone could understand him!

His video led to even more confusion among TikTokers. One commenter agreed: "Just stick to 'baby' sis."
