Justin Fields (22), the 11th overall pick out of Ohio State, had an amazing performance in his NFL debut for the Bears as they beat the Dolphins 20-13 at home.

Fields had a case of the usual rookie jitters to start off, but he regrouped and led the Bears to a comeback win, making a strong case for future success in the quarterback position for Chicago.

He finished the game 14 of 20, for 142 yards, throwing for a touchdown and rushing for another as part of the Bears’ rally to victory.

The Bears weren’t dominating from the beginning, though.

Miami's veteran Jacoby Brissette threw for 67 yards off 6-for-10 passing, including a touchdown.

Placekicker Jason Sanders made both of his field goal attempts to give Miami a 13-0 lead, before having their offense completely shut down in the second half.

The "Monsters of the Midway" seemed to finally be making a comeback with Chicago’s defense, who had a strong showing by forcing a fumble recovery, and completing an interception.

Both teams are back on the football field on August 21 as the Bears host the Bills, while the Dolphins are at home to play the Falcons.
