Heather Morris says she got "so much shade" for calling out Lea Michele's toxic behavior on Glee

Los Angeles, California - Heather Morris has expanded on those rumors that Lea Michele wasn't exactly pleasant while filming Glee. Michele was accused of racist and toxic behavior by other cast members.

Unfortunately, not all costars get along.

Last June, Michele, who portrayed Rachel Berry, was slammed by castmate Samantha Ware for her appalling behavior on the set of Glee.

Following this, several other costars from the series, including Morris, took to social media to back up Ware's claims.

Michele did publicly apologize and took responsibility for her actions, however Morris recently shared that her former costar's attitude during their time filming the show wasn't so easy to talk about.

This week, Morris appeared on the podcast Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, where she first explained that her tweet caused her to get "so much shade" because fans thought her comment was "cryptic."

"And I'm like, 'Guys, she's pregnant, and all this stuff is going around. It's true. And I don't know if maybe we were victims of bullying and that's a typical victim thing to do, is to blame yourself, which people were saying," Morris revealed.

From there, Morris also disclosed that one cast member in particular was always aware of Michele's toxic ways.

Heather Morris continued that the one person who stood up to Lea Michele's alleged horrific behavior was the late Naya Rivera.

"It was something that was very hush-hush on set, and now you see all these things coming out, these bigger names who were disrespectful and mistreated a lot of people, and people allowed that to happen," Morris shared.

Rivera and Michele were said to have had a longstanding feud.

Before Rivera's tragic death was confirmed in July 2020, Michele received backlash for not addressing her former costar's disappearance.

Morris also added that she hadn't heard from Michele since the controversy came to light.

Lea Michele recently welcomed her first son Leo, while Heather Morris shares two sons with her husband, Taylor Hubbell.

Should Michele still be held accountable for her past actions?
