A 44-year-old man from Michigan was arrested on Tuesday for making a bomb threat at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.

Dandre Maurice Lundy left a suitcase and duffel bag at the hotel service desk but curiously, responding officers did not find any bomb inside.

Instead, the bags contained a Bible, a rock, a $1 bill, and handwritten notes of scripture verses.

Lundy later told police he wanted to send a message to the former president, who he believes "messed up his life for the last three years," ABC News reported.

After allegedly placing a call to the hotel to warn of the explosive, he took a taxi back to a nearby motel.

Police told the outlet that the suspect had specifically traveled from Michigan to Las Vegas the day before, knowing his threat would cause alarm.

Guests in the lobby and an adjacent restaurant were evacuated.

The 44-year-old is in custody and appeared before a judge on Wednesday. He is charged with six felonies, including threatening to commit an act of terrorism.

The public prosecutor's office has one week to file a criminal complaint and has set his bail at $60,000.
