TikToker shares horrific beauty procedure that scarred her for life

Sacramento, California - Victoria Quezada had been dreaming of a more defined jawline her whole entire life.

So it's only understandable that she was overjoyed when it seemed like her wish would finally be granted.

By the end of April 2021, the 29-year-old decided to try a noninvasive procedure called CoolSculpting.

During this treatment, a licensed practitioner uses a special tool to freeze and kill fat cells, which then break down naturally after a few weeks.

A scalpel is not needed.

At first, everything sounded fantastic. But today, two weeks after the procedure, the young woman has no defined jawline. Instead, her skin is covered in severe burns.

Quezada now turned to the social media platform TikTok for help.

"What I'm about to show you is a three-day-old second-degree burn from CoolSculpting, it is very graphic," she says as she slowly lowers her hands from her neck.

What she then reveals is shocking. "I have zero jawline, plus blisters under here and second-degree burns, and a swollen face," Quezada continues.

Even her voice is almost gone, as everything is so sore that her vocal cords are affected.

Quezada and her lawyer now want to take action against the salon

Users in the comments section of the video were shocked and, sadly, had no idea how to help Quezada other than to advise her to get a lawyer.

As she now revealed in a Buzzfeed interview, she did just that after her mental state "dramatically decreased" over the past few days.

Now, she plans to take action against the salon for "negligence and potentially other causes of action".

"Ms. Quezada has already gone through a lot, and will continue to go through this nightmare, so our plan is to get justice for her as well as keep this from happening to any other potential victims," her lawyer said.
