On Friday, ABC News shared a press release announcing that MTG's January 7 appearance on The View managed to pull in an impressive 2.7 million viewers – a 7% growth from her first appearance on the show back in November.

The episode helped score the show its most-watched telecast in nine months.

During the week of MTG's appearance, the show also ranked no. 1 among daytime network talk shows with 2.6 million viewers, a 59% growth from the previous week.

The news comes as Greene, who was once an ardent supporter of Trump, has been feuding with the president after she publicly criticized several of his policies.

MTG has recently been doing interviews with left-leaning news outlets and shows. She first appeared on The View in November, during which she claimed she became a controversial political figure because she had been "misled by social media."

Her feud with Trump led Greene to announce her retirement from Congress, and she left office at the beginning of this month.

Her first appearance on the show was so successful that it sparked rumors Greene could be added to the show, as Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin will soon go on maternity leave.
