Internet - The Twitter community is split. Some users think this dog's grin is adorable, others find it creepy. And a few think the dog's big overbite is a ruse.

Some users couldn't get enough of Sky's goofy grin. Other Twitter users got a good scare when they saw the pic of the dog's unusual expression.

The discussion began when Sky's owner sent two snapshots to the Twitter account WeRateDogs. Sky's pictures were reposted and quickly went through the roof.

The reason Sky got tons of attention is that he has an extremely strange smile. He has an overbite and cartoonishly pointy teeth that have a lot of space in between.

Many users agreed that the four-legged friend's smile reminded them of the character Sid the sloth from Ice Age. But Sid is an animated figure which made Twitter users doubt the authenticity of Sky's toothy smile.

Sky's owner Paul Umbirac intervened and posted more pictures of his dog's garish smile and noted that she "loves to smile."

Even if some people aren't sure if they should fear or celebrate Skye's grin it was a clear Twitter hit. The dog's toothy smile raked in 100,000 likes and lots of other users used the opportunity to share pictures of their pets' similar smiles.
