Tattoo artist fails to spellcheck woman's tribute tattoo, and the results are wild!

If your tattoo artist massively messed up a tribute tattoo for your favorite late music artist, what would you do?

Tattoo fails are a dime a dozen, but one TikTok user showed off a botched ink job that actually made our hearts hurt.

In a video captioned "That's rough", TIkToker @courtney.mmk is seen in various settings looking pretty bummed out, banging her hand on the floor, and later jokingly hitting her head on a door as the on-screen text reads: "POV: The Mac be Millering after seeing my misspelled tattoo."

Throughout the course of the video, it becomes clear that to honor the late rapper Mac Miller, the woman decided to take the plunge and get one of his album titles tattooed on her body.

The album she went with was his 2016 release The Divine Feminine, however, things apparently went tragically wrong at her appointment thanks to a tattoo artist's failure to check the spelling of the word "divine."

So, instead of ending up with a chest tattoo that reads "divine feminine," the woman ended up with some ink that says "devine feminine."

Fellow TikTokers sounded off in the comments, as one reassuringly said, "let’s be real mac would have laughed," while another bluntly stated, "babe half of us dropped out of college this gen won’t notice." One person even related to her woes in a real way: "LMAAAOO I have Devine on me too. Didn’t even notice it until about a year ago. Haven’t fixed it though. I just laugh now lol.

Some people suggested she get the letter laser removed. However, the TikTok user posted a follow-up video soon after to share that she had gotten it fixed by simply returning to the tattoo shop and having them change the font, thus fixing the typo.

Thankfully, she had the tattoo artist fix her ink by switching up the font.

Good riddance to that!
