As reported by Windows Central, PC giant Intel plans on letting you buy a laptop that is just one big foldable screen, which would completely do away with a built-in keyboard.

This foldable screen is the big cousin to the up-and-coming foldable smartphones, and the biggest argument in its favor is portability.

Intel wants you to be able to change the device's shape to suit whatever task you are using it for, such as held like a book with a slight fold, or laid out flat like a tablet.

And if you want to use it like an actual laptop, you can turn half of the screen into a virtual keyboard.

Of course, you can also just buy an external keyboard, at which point you might just be better off getting any other regular laptop and saving yourself some money.

The only folding-screen laptop already on the market gives you a taste of how spendy these new gadgets can be. Lenovo's Thinkpad X1 Fold has a starting price of around $2500.
