Harrison Ford gets a surprise while shooting new Indiana Jones movie

Mondello, Italy - "Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory," as Indiana Jones once famously said.

It was sheer fortune for the man behind Indiana Jones, and an unusual delight for local law enforcement!

Police in Sicily had a brief moment of "disbelief" when someone dropped off a lost credit card.

The name on the card was "Harrison Ford" – and luckily for the actor, officers looked into the matter further.

The Indiana Jones star is currently filming the next Indian Jones movie on the Italian island and had indeed lost his credit card, police wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

The card had been found on Thursday and was dropped off at the police station in the seaside resort of Mondello, in the suburbs of Palermo, the ANSA news agency reported.

Police were then able to quickly return it to Ford, who was both surprised and relieved, they said.

He then posed for a quick thank-you snapshot with the three officer fans who delivered the card.

The 79-year-old is shooting the latest Indiana Jones sequel in Sicily.

Disney recently announced that adventure saga's next installment is delayed, and won't be in theaters until June 2023. The release was originally planned for July 2022.

Hopefully Ford will be able to hold on to his plastic for the remainder of its filming.
