Los Angeles, California - Olivia Rodrigo has finally confirmed the release of her third studio album, and it's coming this summer!

After wiping her Instagram feed the day before, the 23-year-old pop star has announced that she is releasing a new record called you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.

The record bucks Olivia's tradition of four-letter song titles and swaps her signature purple hue for a light pink theme.

"my third album 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love' is out June 12th. I am so proud of this record and I can't wait for you to hear it," Olivia wrote.

Fans had suspected that the album might be a more romantic one, as Olivia was in a high-profile relationship with actor Louis Partridge until the two reportedly called it quits last December.

A recent British Vogue cover story confirmed that the album would be love-song-centric, but with a more complex spin.

"The fan theories were right: these are all love songs, but specifically about the obsession and anxiety of it – or the depression when your lover is gone," the outlet dished.
