One of Matthew McConaughey's former castmates recently revealed what he smells like, since he hasn't used deodorant in quite some time.

Back in 2005, the actor shared that he didn't use the product. At all.

His reasons? At the time, the star expressed his desire to stick to his natural odor.

Matthew hasn't clarified if this has changed since. But, one person did get to the bottom of what he really does smell like – and fans wants to know.

On Tuesday, the actor's Tropic Thunder costar Yvette Nicole Brown shared on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show that she was very curious about the 51-year-old's scent.

"I remember that Matthew McConaughey said that he did not use deodorant and that he did not have an odor. My first thought was, 'I'm going to get as close as I can to him to see if he's right,'" she explained.

The verdict? "He does not have an odor. He smells like granola and good living. That's all I can say. He has a sweet, sweet scent that is just him. It's not musty or crazy," she revealed.

Yvette mentioned that she does think the actor still takes care of his hygiene, despite his anti-deodorant ways.

"I believe he bathes because he smells delicious. He just didn't have deodorant on. Those that don't bathe, I don't understand," she shared.

The discussion comes after the ongoing health debate raging in Hollywood recently on whether bathing daily is necessary.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher started the whole fiasco when they shared that they don't wash their kids unless they have dirt on them.

Since then, many celebs have offered their two cents on their own bathing routines, or lack thereof.

To bathe or not to bathe, is that really a question?

Apparently, these days it is.
