Welcome to 2023, where the music drops are just as fresh as the new year air! No matter what genre of music you vibe with, there's bound to be a music release up your alley.

This week, you can expect new drops in the hip-hop world from artists like Russ and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, releases from singer-songwriters like Brandon Ratcliff, and new dance-worthy bops from RuPaul, Iggy Pop, and Skrillex, to name a few.

The queen of '90s country AKA Shania Twain is also expected to drop the lead single off her forthcoming album this week.

• YoungBoy Never Broke Again - I Rest My Case

YoungBoy NBA stunned his fans on Monday when he announced he'd be dropping a brand-new album on Friday. titled I Rest My Case. The release comes a few weeks after the rapper dropped his Lost Files mixtape project, and five months following the release of his fourth studio album, The Last Slimeto.

• RuPaul - Black Butta

Celebrities Eva Evans, TikTok star and actor, has tragically passed away

RuPaul's new album Black Butta, which was announced back in November, will finally be in the hands of fans come Friday. The album serves as RuPaul's 15th and will be the follow-up to 2022’s Mamaru. Though the release date for RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 has not yet been confirmed, it's key to point out that past seasons have been released around the time of RuPaul's albums. Who knows – maybe season 15 is right around the corner!

• Iggy Pop - Every Loser

Iggy Pop is back to prove he never lost his musical spark with the release of a new album titled Every Loser on Friday. The project serves as the follow-up to his 2019 album, Free. The upcoming 11-track album was produced by the legendary Andrew Watt, who has worked with artists like Justin Bieber, Ozzy Osbourne, Dua Lipa, and Post Malone.

• Brandon Ratcliff - Tale of Two Towns

Also due on Friday is singer-songwriter Brandon Ratcliff's debut album, Tale of Two Towns.

The record is set to include the title track, along with other songs such as Drove Me Country and Someone Who Believes In You.

In addition to full-length albums, there are several notable songs coming out this week that are worth checking out.

On Wednesday, Skrillex returns with a new song called Rumble featuring Fred again, Flowdan, and Elley Duhé.

Then, on Thursday, the icon that is Shania Twain will bless music lovers with her much-teased new track, Giddy Up!

Friday boasts three notable song releases, with the first coming from Owl City with the full-length release of his new single, Kelly Time.

Russ is also set to drop a new track on Friday, and word on the street is that it's called PUT YOU ON GAME, per Genius.

Last but not least is a new track by British DJ Sigala and singer MNEK called Radio, which is also due on Friday.
