Music Release Radar: Albums and songs debuting the week of December 5

It's the first week of December, and although the temperatures might be dropping, the music releases are hot as ever with new bops coming from artists like SZA, KIRBY, Paramore, Sam Ryder, French Montana, Dove Cameron, Russ, and more. Check out the release dates on TAG24's radar for the week of December 5.

We love a music release week that's bustling with diversity in terms of genres, and that's just what this week has in store.

With new albums and singles on the way from hip-hop artists, R&B and indie-pop legends, alternative rockers, and singer-songwriters, there's surely something that suits your musical taste.

SZA's long-awaited sophomore album is expected to drop this week, as well as the sixth installment of French Montana's Coke Boys mixtape series. British singer-songwriter Sam Ryder has his debut album on the way, too.

Koi is slated to drop his new song, as are Paramore, Rebecca Black, 24KGoldn, Russ, and more.

  • KIRBY - I Told You I Would

On Monday, KIRBY released her latest project titled I Told You I Would. The Memphis native's five-track EP is bustling with a range of emotions, and we're here for every second of it.

  • SZA - SOS

SZA's highly anticipated sophomore album, SOS, is set to drop on Friday. In typical SZA fashion, the singer announced the release date for the project during her Saturday Night Live performance over the weekend. The album is poised to include the previously released songs Shirt and Blind, which she debuted on SNL, as well as features from Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and more.

  • A Boogie Wit da Hoodie - Me Vs. Myself

On Friday, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is set to release his new album, Me Vs. Myself. The project is his first since the 2020 release of Artist 2.0. The album was initially supposed to drop in November, but was pushed back to December.

  • Sam Ryder - There's Nothing But Space, Man!

If you haven't listened to the soul-quenching vocal powerhouse that is Sam Ryder, well, there's no time like the present! The British singer-songwriter is expected to release his debut album, There's Nothing But Space, Man!, on Friday.

  • French Montana - Coke Boys 6

French Montana is back with the latest installment of his Coke Boys mixtape series with Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition expected to drop on Friday. The rapper announced the collaborative project via Instagram in November, writing: "It’s lonely at the top if you don’t bring your folks with u." The project will include features from Max B, D Thang, T Dot, Cheese, Kenzo B, and more.

  • Lil Boom - Colorful

On Friday, Lil Boom is poised to release his 16-track mixtape titled Colorful. The project will Include the previously released song Meant To Be.

  • Emotional Oranges - The Juice Vol. III

The legendary duo that is Emotional Oranges are set to drop their latest project, The Juice Vol. III on Friday. This is the third and final installment in their "The Juice" trilogy, and will include the previously released song Let Me Go, which dropped last Friday.

  • Lostboycrow - Indie Pop

Indie-pop artist Lostboycrow, born Chris Blair, is back with his brand-new album, Indie Pop. The project is set to drop on Friday.

For Indie Pop, Blair reportedly wanted Lostboycrow to "feel more like a band" for Indie Pop, and thus tapped Pop Etc performer Chris Chu to help him produce the album.

In addition to full-fledge album, mixtape, and EP releases, there are a handful of notable songs dropping this week, too.

On Tuesday, 21-year-old independent artist and producer Koi, born Coye Sanders, is set to release his new song, Grey's Anatomy.

On Wednesday, Rebecca Black is expected to drop her new single, Look At You, and if the snaps she shared on Twitter are any indication, this might be a totally different sound for the songstress.

Paramore is releasing their new track, The News, on Thursday. That same day, 24kGoldn is expected to debut his latest single, Checkers, as well.

Flash forward to Friday, and Dove Cameron is set to drop her new song Girl Like Me, while the multifaceted artist that is Russ will be releasing his new track called Too Much.
