Divorces, scandals, and a Vegas wedding: Here's what to expect in The Kardashians
Los Angeles, California - The new show The Kardashians is set to air this week on Hulu. Here's what to expect from the brand-new series.
After a brief hiatus following the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK), Kim Kardashian is returning to reality TV and yes, the entire Kar-Jenner clan is coming with her.
The Kardashians will debut this Thursday, and while the hype around the show has been positive, one can't help but wonder: will this new series actually be different from KUTWK?
The jury is still out, but viewers do have plenty to look forward to, and the Kar-Jenners' have had a lot going on since viewers last saw them.
From divorces, babies, engagements, and shocking scandals, the drama is at an all-time high – but it's just a normal day in Kardashian-Jenner world.
Here's all the tea that will be served in The Kardashians.
Kimye's divorce and Kete's romance
When KUWTK ended, Kim was still married to her then-husband Kanye "Ye" West - but things weren't going so great.
Clearly, things went from bad to worse, as the pair are still in the midst of their nasty divorce.
Not to mention the erratic behavior Ye exhibited towards his ex-wife recently with his toxic and violent social media rants.
Alas, amid all the drama, the SKIMS owner found love with Pete Davidson. According to Kim, viewers will get more insight on how their oddly adorable connection began on her new reality show.
But that's not the only man in Kim's life who will be making an appearance.
Yes, ex-hubby Ye will also be seen in the series, as Kim will get real about the former pair's ongoing tumultuous split.
Tristan Thompson's paternity drama
Another couple who's called it quits since KUTWK ended is Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson.
The on-and-off again pair split for the second time in July 2021.
Yet the NBA star's habit of being the subject of scandal hasn't stopped there. In late 2021, a paternity suit filed against Tristan made its way out into the world, revealing that the athlete was expecting his third child – fathered during a period when he was allegedly attached to Khloé.
Needless to say, the ordeal put Khloé in a very uncomfortable position.
The Good American owner's ex will also be in the new series, since the two are parents to four-year-old True Thompson.
Yet, the 37-year-old also promised to discuss Tristan's latest scandal - and we do hope Ms. KoKo doesn't hold back on how she really feels.
Kravis and that Vegas wedding
Babies, tequila-filled weddings, and a whole lotta PDA.
Kourtney Kardashian's love life upswing might honestly be the most intriguing and freshest storyline in the brand-new series.
Let's be honest, Kourtney and Scott Disick's tumultuous love affair was truly what carried KUTWK. But now, the Poosh owner will be smooching all over her new rocker husband - or fiancé, as the jury's still out on their Vegas elopement - Travis Barker.
The lovebirds have had quite the time recently, from their romantic engagement to now apparently starting a family of their own. Not to mention the fact that the two were just married by an Elvis impersonator.
As for Lord Disick, the honorary member of the Kar-Jenner family will also be around, and hopefully fans will get the real deal behind his feelings on Kravis.
Kylie Jenner's second pregnancy
Kylie Jenner became a mommy for the second time earlier this year, after she welcomed her new son with Travis Scott.
Initially, the little bundle of joy's moniker was Wolf Jacques Webster. However, his parents have since scrapped that name and have yet to announce one they feel is more fitting.
Unlike Kylie's secret first pregnancy with daughter Stormi, the beauty mogul has been more open and public this time.
That being said, fans should expect to see a very pregnant Kylie when the show debuts.
But the real question is if the billionaire will follow in her older siblings' footsteps and share her recent delivery on the series.
The Kardashians airs on Hulu this Thursday.
