Deaf cat gives off irritated vibes before it sweetly spots a familiar face

Connecticut - Since last week, more than 12 million people have watched the TikTok featuring a deaf cat named Karma. In the snippet, the animal seems lonely and irritated as it meows to itself. But when the cat spots its owner, her entire disposition changes in a heartwarming way.

Karma the cat's owner Carolyn is one lucky lady. In a video captured by her boyfriend, Karma seems inconsolable – and he knows it.

As Karma impatiently awaits the return of her owner, Carolyn's boyfriend couldn't help but to record what he was witnessing.

In the snippet, the poor guy was unfortunately not able to offer much comfort to Karma, as the cat walks by meowing in an irritated manner up until Carolyn walks in. Suddenly, she transforms herself into a kind and cuddly kitten.

Appropriately proud, Karma's owner told Newsweek, "The way she reacts to seeing me come in never fails to make me smile and makes me feel so loved and grateful to have her in my life."

In addition to Karma, Carolyn has two other cats, but her deaf four-legged friend is especially fond of her.

"[Karma's] favorite thing to do is curl up on my pillow at night to sleep, where I'll hear her tiny snores next to my ear all night long," Carolyn dished.

Carolyn couldn't help herself from bragging about her feline friend that can't stand to be without her: "She's the sweetest cat you'll ever meet, and I can only hope that we'll have many more years to greet each other at the door."

At the end of the day, Carolyn is happy she shared the now-viral video.

"I'm glad I shared it on TikTok. She brightens each of my days, and it makes me so happy to know that that one short video of her did the same for millions of other people all over the world," she said.
