Tyler Nock describes his cat as "very affectionate" – he follows him around the house, purrs, and rubs up against him constantly.

Even in the bathroom, Tyler can't get a moment of peace without his animal companion!

Toulouse is known to crash Zoom meetings when his owner is on his laptop, lay on top of Tyler on the couch or in bed, and is always begging to be pet and held.

Their cuddly companionship has been documented on the industrial designer's Instagram, and he has even made a separate account just for Toulouse!

But when Tyler realized his Lynx Point Siamese truly needed to be by his side 24/7, he thought there may be something else his cat was needing, besides unconditional love.

Throughout the two's deep bond, Toulouse has solely trusted Tyler since he was a kitten, and struggled when left alone.

Tyler realized there was a reason for the unrelenting behavior: his cat was battling a severe case of separation anxiety.

Any time Tyler would go to work, he would leave activities to occupy his cat, like a scratching post or toy balls to play with. But the owner felt he needed to give his cat even more comfort, and company.

"After doing a lot of research about Toulouse’s separation anxiety, I decided to add a kitten to the family," Tyler said on his Instagram.

Tibbs, the new kitty, is extremely energetic and has quickly become a good distraction for the older cat.

"Toulouse is very hesitant right now but every day he becomes more and more intrigued and comfortable with the kitten!" Tyler said. "They’ll be besties in no time."

The two curious cats are now capturing the hearts of fans on TikTok and Facebook with their cute fights and playful adventures.

Tyler hopes that by adding the new companion to their family, Toulouse will feel even more supported – and always have a friend by his side.
