Luna the panther's start in life was anything but easy. Born in a Siberian zoo and rejected by her mother, this little ball of fluff would never have survived without the milk of a mother and the care of a stranger.

When Victoria stepped in and saved Luna's life, the 31-year-old's experience with big cats made her the ideal person to become a panther foster mom. It wasn't long before the adoption was through and Luna the panther's owner had full custody.

Since then, the Russian has been posting updates on Luna's journey to adulthood on TikTok, YouTube, as well as Instagram.

With a little bit of bottle-feeding and a lot of love, Luna the panther soon grew from a small bundle of fur into a large, graceful animal.

After a long and cautious process of getting to know each other, Luna even found a best friend in Victoria's rottweiler Venza!

Photos of this rottweiler and panther friendship have since developed as a heartwarming social media phenomenon.

Videos regularly show Luna the panther and her rottweiler best friend romping around in the Siberian snow, cuddling with each other, and generally getting along like the perfect pair.

It's not just fun and games, though. Victoria always emphasizes that Luna is far from just a pet, and caring for a panther takes a lot of work, care, and knowledge.

Owning Luna the panther is challenging, but rewarding

With hundreds of thousands of followers across a variety of different platforms, Victoria does her best to answer the many questions that people have, such as whether Luna can purr like other felines.

Victoria says that a panther's larynx isn't capable of producing purring sounds, but she assures everyone that Luna has other ways of making her feelings known.

As she nears her first birthday, the beautiful black cat is learning a variety of tricks from Victoria, deepening a connection that already looks like something out of a Disney storybook!
