All you have to do is share a photo of your pup pal and provide your swoon-worthy truth of why you want them tatted on your bod forever and ever. In order to be considered, you'll also need to provide your dog's name, breed, and their social media handle if they have one.

The winners will be decided by "the most dog-obsessed humans on the BARK payroll." The contest is currently open, and will close on September 2.

To all the pup lovers of the world: Happy National Dog Day!
