Los Angeles, California - Wonderful news for supermodel Emily Ratajkowski as she and her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard (33) are expecting their first child together.

The 29-year-old announced the happy surprise on Instagram, with a clip featuring her on the cover of fashion magazine Vogue, wearing a glamorous satin dress and smiling, while she touches her baby belly.

"Grateful & growing", she wrote in her post.

Emily also shared a special YouTube video titled Who will you be? The short film, produced by Vogue and directed by actor Lena Dunham, is an artful exploration of her pregnancy.

In it, Emily stands naked in front of a mirror, cuddles up tightly in her husband's arms and fools around with her dog, with ultrasound scans interposed between the shots.

The model did not reveal whether the happy couple is expecting a boy or a girl – and she doesn't plan to do so anytime soon.

In her essay published in Vogue, Emily explains that she and Bear-McClard are not too interested in the gender question:

"Whenever my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after 'Congratulations' is almost always 'Do you know what you want?' We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then."
