Kodak Black is in trouble again after latest arrest in Florida

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Rapper Kodak Black got himself in legal trouble again on Friday after police arrested him at a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on two drug-related charges.

According to reports by multiple outlets, the artist – whose real name is Bill Kahan Kapri – was taken to Broward County jail after being stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol for window tints that "appeared to be darker than the legal limit."

The booking records show he was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and Oxycodone traffic.

A source told TMZ that the 25-year-old's license and vehicle tags were also expired. Kodak Black's lawyer said a $75,000 bond was secured.

The Tunnel Vision artist has been arrested numerous times over the years, on charges ranging from sexual assault to firearm possession. Along with fellow star Lil Wayne, he was pardoned by ex-President Donald Trump in 2020 after being sentenced for a providing false information in federal forms to buy a gun.

In February, Kodak released his first new album since that year, with Back for Everything debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. The record was certified gold just this week, having gotten good reviews from both critics and fans.
