From a young age, Kirkpatrick suffered from eating disorders spurred on by trauma they experienced during childhood. It wasn't until weightlifting and body modification entered the picture that things started to improve.

Now, Kirkpatrick has spent more than $12,000 on a pair of devil horns and more than 100 piercings all over their body, as well as a variety of tattoos, and things just simply couldn't be better.

This remarkable body mod journey, which is making waves on social media, has seen them get a stretched septum and tongue, lip and nose piercings, and silicone horn implants similar to those used by the "Human Satan."

Finding peace in radical body modifications and demon horns

After taking up bodybuilding and focusing on body modifications as a way to shape their body image into something that allows for self-expression, Jessy Kirkpatrick has seen a lot of things improve.

"My sleep routine got better," they said, according to the Daily Mail. "I had less pain and could function during the day. I could lift items without literally breaking a rib, and, best of all, I felt happier than I had in years."

Kirkpatrick described the trauma of having anorexia, describing theirself as a "walking corpse" that was "physically and mentally dead" before their physical and mental transformation.

"Now, when I look in the mirror, I don't see a skeleton; I see a strong and powerful being. I can't tell you how satisfying that is."
