Whether she's in a red bikini or a black top, Haruethai's many tattoos are immediately apparent. They're just about everywhere, as the model from Thailand has all but two percent of her body inked up.

The 35-year-old regularly shows off her body art on her Instagram, with flowers, dragons and other colorful designs tracing her curves.

"I did my first tattoo all by myself using a fishing hook and printer ink, as I was too young to get one professionally done," the influencer told the Daily Star. "My dad also had a few tattoos of his own and I really wanted to follow in his footsteps."

It all started at the age of 14. And while Haruethai is loved by her nearly 250,000 followers for the eye-catching designs, her family, however, disagrees.

The model's parents, in particular, think the ink is giving their daughter a lasting "bad image" and embarrassing her in front of the whole world. "They think my tattoos won't look good as I get older," Haruethai shared.

But she continues to be very nonchalant about her parents' concerns: "My mother has always said that I'll never find someone to marry me, which makes me laugh."

Thai model feels very comfortable in her skin

Haruethai is extremely confident and doesn't regret her many tattoos one bit, "I used to care about what people would think, but I have learned over time that I should feel comfortable in my skin. If people don't like me for the way I look, then they're not worth my time and I'm happy being my own person for now."

The beautiful Thai woman encouraged her fans to be who they truly are. "We all only have one life, so do what you like and be yourself. Tattoos have changed my life and I am grateful that I have come to this point in life where I can choose to be the way I am today," she insisted.
