Kentucky - It seems this cat could the next Mr. Grinch! After his secret antics were captured by a nighttime surveillance camera, the Christmas caper has gone viral on TikTok.

"It's me. Hi. I'm the problem it's me" are the fitting Taylor Swift lyrics that play behind this mischievous cat in one of his clips. And the soundtrack couldn't be more spot on.

A TikTok user who runs Walter the cat's account has shown that he's been very naughty this Christmas. And despite the white patch markings on his shoulders, which they call "angel wings," Walter is definitely no angel!

"My cat is one busy dude at night," the TikToker explains, sharing dozens of clips of the cat filmed on their security camera.

In the videos, Walter is caught in the act of walking past the camera and always carrying something in his mouth.

A particular recent clip that has been viewed over 8.6 millions times shows "Walter moving all the Christmas stuff upstairs while I sleep," the user captioned.

The four-legged friend repeatedly steals decorations from the Christmas tree and the living room at night, and takes his stolen goods upstairs. He's even carried a snowman and strings of blinking lights!

Walter "clearly loves Christmas" and is "ready to put his own tree up," his owner jokes – or he just wants to horde all the holiday goodies for himself.

TikTokers are simply loving Walter's escapades.

"It's nice that he does some redecorating," commented one user.

"At least he's doing some kind of chores, mine just crash or go on a rampage around the apartment at night," wrote another.

Another video on Walter's account showed the pet lying on the floor and tangled up among his treasures. It seems the cat has created his very own Christmas corner - and as his continued night walks show, he's only adding to the collection.
