Mexico - What would you do if your dog locked you out of your own car? One TikTok user was faced with this predicament, and she had to make her canine companion a little jealous to get the action she needed.

When your pup puts you in a bit of a pickle, sometimes, a little canine jealousy goes a long way!

Such was the case with one TikTok user whose French bulldog locked her out of her truck moments before she was supposed to drive across the US-Mexico border.

In the brief clip, the dog's owner is seen frantically shouting while pounding on the passenger door of a truck. As she continues to beg her Frenchie to unlock the door, the dog peers out of the window without moving a muscle as to say, "Not today, lady!"

Clearly unmoved by the chaotic scene it's owner and company were making, the woman decided to take the family's car fate into her own hands.

"When your dog locks the truck door on your way to cross the border, but she hates when mom holds another dog" the on-screen text reads as the dog's owner is seen holding what appears to be a Yorkie up against the passenger window.

Clearly, the Frenchie was not vibing with its human hanging with another dog, and in a fit of jealous rage, the pup proceeds to open the window while barking dramatically.

At this point, the dog's owner and those nearby erupt in a chorus of joyful screams at the revelation that their journey could continue without needing a costly locksmith.

In this case, we're definitely here for the puppy jealousy!
