Los Angeles, California - The finest talent in Hollywood came together to celebrate the best of this year's performances at the Golden Globes with one unfortunate consequence for several big-name celebrities.

After the 80th Golden Globes crowned the best of the best in film and television last Tuesday, several stars tested positive for Covid-19.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Pfeiffer were two celebs who contracted the virus at the ceremony.

The Banshees of Inisherin costars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson also tested positive after attending the Globes.

These stars were forced to miss Sunday's Critics' Choice Awards, as the ceremony decided to enforce the requirement of a negative Covid-19 test following the outbreak from the Globes, according to Deadline.

Though the spreading of viruses is somewhat inevitable at such large gatherings, some stars did take important steps to better protect themselves and prevent the spread of disease.

Fans on social media shared an image of Jessica Chastain donning a glitzy face mask that matched her stunning gown.

"and you know who didn't get COVID at the Golden Globes?" one fan tweeted along with a photo of Chastain.

The 45-year-old actor reshared the tweet, writing, "Phew!"

It looks like stars should take a cue from Chastain if they want to stay healthy this awards season!
